Molecular Biology of Malignant Transformation
Basic research in any area, runs through the scientific method, a rational and systematic framework that can only be learned in practice. This Practical Course/Workshop Molecular Biology of Malignant Transforamation (pt: Biologia Molecular da Transforação Maligna) was created to provide means for the solid foundation and intensive training of researchers in scientific methodology, while providing the meeting of ideas, knowledge exchange and critique which is essential to move the frontiers of knowledge in the areas of Molecular and Cell Biology and Biotechnology.
Ten editions of the course has been offered, the first being held in 1986, when it operated in Block 12 of the IQ-USP and yet we did not have so many facilities (material and human) – and when the future was very uncertain.
It is highly gratifying that the list of speakers includes Lectures Cycle researchers (as) who participated in other editions of this course as students, instructors and teachers, and now leaders of their own research groups, and current PhD students (as) advanced (as) or post-doctoral fellows (JP-FAPESP, PNPD, CNPq and CAPES) of our group.
The Handbook of the Practical Course/Workshop on Molecular Biology of Malignant Transformation (QBQ5717) was registered with the Brazilian Book Chamber (CBL) under number ISBN 978-65-00-11759-2 on October 29, 2020
