Tools of Genetic Engineering applied Biotechnology
This Practical Course/Workshop “Ferramentas da engenharia genética aplicadas à Biotecnologia” (eng:tools of genetic engineering applied to Biotechnology) was created for students and teachers of the school, both in the public and private sectors.
The embryo of this course was created four years ago, during the visit of a group of students and teachers of the school, the College Bandeirantes, our Laboratory Cellular and Molecular Biology, located in Block 9 of the Institute of Chemistry at USP. Since then, three editions of the course were offered.
Both courses offered as Books are the fruit of a joint effort, highly participative and enthusiastic group of young people (graduate students and post-docs) team that makes up the Laboratory of Cellular and Molecular Biology Institute of Chemistry, USP . The success of this course is due to them and to the staff of this laboratory.
Joining this group around this initiative Teaching, Research and Extension is due to the conviction of the importance of biotechnology for sustainable and harmonious development of Brazil and its willingness to contribute to it somehow.
